About the Artist

I'd like to share a little bit about myself.  I've always enjoyed expressing myself through drawing and painting, from little on!   I have a degree in Commercial Art and after graduating, worked in the Art Department at Fort Howard Paper Company, in Green Bay, WI.  I then married and moved to Minneapolis, MN where I worked in the Art Departments of Lithosmiths and then Watt Peterson Advertising and Printing.   After the birth of our first child, we moved back to Wisconsin and watercolors became my artistic pursuit.  It worked well, because the paintings dried fast, little fingers could not smudge them and I could slide them into a drawer. 

Because of my background in Commercial Art, I am interested in offering my paintings to a wider audience, therefore I have Giclee' prints produced of some paintings.  This natural progression gives me the opportunity to offer affordable high quality fine-art prints.

I consider it a gift to be able to communicate through my art, painting the areas I live and travel. For me, the images I create are my conversations with people.

I am also a member of the Cedarburg Artists Guild, the League of Milwaukee Artists, Wisconsin Watercolor Association, Cedarburg Art Museum and Cedarburg Cultural Center.  

Other facts:  I am married, live in Grafton, WI, and am the mother of five, all of who are married and blessed us with 15 grandchildren.
